In answer to the growing concern for the effects of Climate Change, mybutcher has decided to lead the way in its industry towards Environmental Sustainability.

The pasture-fed process is said to be greener, healthier and more humane (GC Sager, 2008, ‘Where’s Your Beef From’, Natural Life. 124, pp.20-23) & mybutcher has a strong focus on sourcing its produce from local suppliers to reduce food miles and encourage the local Australian economy

mybutcher  has calculated its Environmental Footprint using a market leading carbon calculator from Carbon Neutral. This footprint incorporates emissions from scope 1,2 and 3 exploring its supply chain both upstream and downstream.

This will put mybutcher and all its stakeholders in the best position for future mitigation and to meet the rising consumer demand for Environmental accountability.
Mybutcher also supports ethical and humane farming practises.
